What we build, and why
The first round of most hiring processes is the same conversation repeated dozens of times a week: can this person do the core of the job, are the logistics right, are they still interested. It is important, it is repetitive, and it competes for the same hours recruiters need for the candidates who are already a fit.
QuillHire runs that round for you. The AI phone screener calls applicants on their mobile and works through your criteria in 15 minutes. The AI video interview runs a live, two-way 45-minute technical round for any role, with a coding module for developers and anti-cheat monitoring throughout. Both hand back evidence your team can review and compare.
The two formats are independent. Teams use either one on its own, or both, for startups, staffing agencies, IT services firms, and campus hiring.
How we think about AI interviews
Evidence, not verdicts
Every interview ends in a transcript, a scorecard, and, on video rounds, timestamped anti-cheat findings. QuillHire recommends; your team decides. Nothing is rejected automatically.
A live conversation, not a recording
Candidates talk to an interviewer that listens and asks the next question based on their answer. One-way recorded video is easy to build and unpleasant to sit through, and it cannot ask a follow-up.
Nothing for the candidate to install
The phone screen calls an ordinary mobile number. The video interview opens from a standard video call link in a browser. No app, no account, no unfamiliar portal.
Published, per-interview pricing
Credits are bought in packs, a completed interview spends a fixed number of them, and they never expire. No seats, no subscription, no sales call needed to see a price.
