Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of QuillHire websites, applications, and related services (the “Service”) operated by QuillHire (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By creating an account, clicking accept, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the organization you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

QuillHire helps hiring teams run AI phone screens and AI-assisted Google Meet interviews, and review transcripts, scores, and related evidence. Features depend on your plan and configuration.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when practicable. Beta or experimental features may change or end without notice.

3. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
• You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your workspace, including actions by teammates you invite.
• Work-email or Google Sign-In may be required. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk.

4. Customer content and candidate data

You retain rights to content you upload (job details, resumes, candidate contact data, custom questions, and similar “Customer Content”). You grant QuillHire a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display Customer Content solely to provide and improve the Service.

You represent that you have all rights and notices required under applicable law (including employment and data protection laws) to submit candidate data and to place screening calls or schedule interviews.

You are responsible for how your organization uses screening results in hiring decisions.

5. Acceptable use

You will not, and will not allow others to:

• Use the Service unlawfully, including for discriminatory hiring practices prohibited by applicable law.
• Call, message, or interview people without a lawful basis or in violation of telecom, spam, or consent rules.
• Upload malware, attempt to breach security, or reverse engineer the Service except where law allows.
• Resell, scrape, or misuse the Service, or use it to build a competing product using our confidential materials.
• Misrepresent QuillHire outputs as human-made where disclosure is required, or use outputs to deceive candidates.
• Interfere with other customers’ use of the Service.

6. AI outputs and no professional advice

Scores, transcripts, recommendations, and integrity signals are automated decision-support tools. They may be incomplete or incorrect. Your team must review evidence before making hiring decisions.

QuillHire does not provide legal, compliance, or employment advice. You remain responsible for fair hiring, accommodations, and regulatory obligations in your jurisdiction.

7. Plans, minutes, and payments

Paid plans include allotted AI minutes and features described at purchase time. Unused minutes typically expire at period end unless we state otherwise. Overage, if offered, may be billed separately.

Fees are charged through our payment processor. Taxes may apply. Except where required by law or expressly stated, fees are non-refundable.

We may change prices with notice for upcoming renewal periods. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing for that period.

8. Third-party services

The Service depends on third parties such as telephony providers, Google (Sign-In and Meet), AI model providers, hosting, and payment processors. Their terms and availability may affect the Service. We are not responsible for third-party outages outside our reasonable control.

9. Intellectual property

QuillHire and its licensors own the Service, software, branding, and documentation. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. Feedback you provide may be used by us without obligation to you.

10. Confidentiality

Each party may receive non-public information from the other. The receiving party will use that information only to perform under these Terms and protect it with reasonable care, except for information that is public, independently developed, or required to be disclosed by law.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR ANY SPECIFIC HIRE.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QUILLHIRE AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR HIRING OUTCOMES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE IN ANY TWELVE-MONTH PERIOD WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THAT PERIOD (OR INR 5,000 IF YOU ARE ON A FREE PLAN).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.

14. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify QuillHire against claims arising from your Customer Content, your hiring decisions, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

15. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, legal risk, or material breach. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity) will survive.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Material changes will take effect on the stated effective date or upon notice. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
